繼2005年轟動全球的『The Emancipation of Mimi/解放咪咪』之後，蝴蝶天后瑪麗亞凱莉終於端出個人第11張錄音室專輯【E=MC2】。從濃厚嘻哈風味、到明亮誘人的迪斯可舞韻…可謂樂風多元、應有盡有，專輯中還穿插了幾首展現極致唱功的抒情曲，以及由知名製作大牌Jermaine Dupri、will.i.am、Scott Storch等人操盤的歌曲。和她先前的專輯相比，這次最明顯的不同，在於瑪麗亞凱莉嘗試以較為輕盈內斂的唱腔演繹，包括首波主打"Touch My Body"這首關於秘密約會的性感單曲，由瑪麗亞凱莉和為Rihanna創作了葛萊美得獎作"Umbrella"的The-Dream聯手譜寫。根據mariahdaily.com網站的報導，全美國有65家電台在這首歌曲以數位方式發行到電台的五小時之內就開始播放，全曲散發濃厚的冠軍氣勢，看來2008年將是瑪麗亞凱莉成功在排行榜上呼風喚雨的第十八個年頭。
